Survivors; wife, Harriett M. Boykin of Garner; brothers, Curtis Williams (Janice) of Snow Hill, Jerome Boykin (Beatrice) and Melvin Boykin Jr. both of Raleigh; sisters, Melvetine Boykin Matoko of Raleigh and Debbie Boykin Braswell (Cliff) of Goldsboro; and a host of other relatives and friends, including his step-children, Tracy Bashoon (Tony) of Atlanta, Kareem Atkinson (Tiffany) of Greenville and Karise Johnson (Will) of Clayton.
