Mr. Jerry Edward Exum, Sr., age 68, of 1217 Robinson Avenue, Raleigh, departed this life on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

Funeral, 1 PM, Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh.  Visitation, 12:30 to 1 PM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the funeral home. 

Survivors; sons, Jerry E. Exum Jr. (Veronica) of San Antonio, TX and Jamaal Exum (Marquessa) of Fayetteville; daughter, LaTaurus Exum of Raleigh; mother, Annie Ruth Aycox of the home; sisters, Paulette Simmons of Raleigh; brothers, Fred Exum of Raleigh and Lamont Lindsay Jr. of Rocky Mount; 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends 1219 Robinson Avenue, Raleigh.
