Mr. George Lee Wright Jr., age 65, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.  

Funeral, 1 PM, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Visitation, Tuesday, prior to the service from 12:30 PM to 1 PM. Public viewing, Monday, April 24, 2023, 12 Noon to 8 PM.

Survivors; children, Anitra Barnette (Shelton), George Lee Barnette Wright (Nitayah), Amanda Brown and Abraham McDonald; sister, Dezora Wright McClain; brother, Lonnie Wright; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

The family will receive friends at 550 June Lane, Apt. 201, Raleigh.
