Funeral, 1PM, Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road,.Raleigh. Visitation, 12:30 PM to 1 PM, prior to funeral. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery, 120 Prospect Ave, Raleigh. Public Viewing, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 28, 2024.

Survivors; wife, Nitaya Gregory Barnette; children, Saeqwon Barnette, Aniyah Barnette, DeAndre Barnette and Darrian Barnette; mother, Schquinta Barnette Thompson; siblings, Anitra Barnette Greene (Shelton) and Miricul Ny'Asia Jackson; maternal grandmother, Teresa Langston; and a host of other relatives and friends.
