Mr. George "Boy" Spencer, Jr., age 77, of Knightdale, departed this life on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021, at the funeral home.  

George leaves to cherish his memories: children, Clarissa Spencer of Raleigh, George N. Spencer of Winston Salem, Tara Spencer of Raleigh, Darlene Holder (Percy)  of Zebulon and Tawanda Clark (Ricky) of Clayton and Rhonda O’Neal of Zebulon; 21 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Tyson of SC, George Anna Ray of Raleigh, Beulah Ray (Nathaniel) of Knightdale, Gladys Jiles of Rolesville, Betty Spencer (Tony) of Zebulon and Mary Spencer of Zebulon; brothers, brothers, Minister Luby Spencer (Mary) of Garner and Sylvester Spencer (Renee) of Greensboro; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
