Mr. Frankie Carl Polk, age 65, of Raleigh, departed this life Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner.  The Rev. Dr. G.A. Jones Jr., Pastor of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Raleigh, Officiating.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Monday, March 13, 2023, at the funeral home. 

Survivors: wife, Donna Watson Polk; daughters, Franneka Carla Watson and Damesha Watson Davis; sons, Frankie T. Smith-Polk (Tracie), Darius Polk, Frankie C. Polk II and Larry Smith; 4 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ones Waddell Polk (Peggy), Ricky Lee Polk, Reginald Polk, Otis Bumpers, Craven Avery, Frederick Avery, Paulette Avery and Richard Avery; and a host of other relatives and friends including his father-in-law, Wardell Watson. 

The family will receive friends at 217 Parkland Road, Raleigh, beginning daily Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 1PM to 7 PM.
