Mr. Edward T. Lyons, age 79, of Louisburg, departed this life on Friday, September 1, 2023.

Funeral, 11 AM, Friday, September 15, 2023, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh.  Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2023.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens  

Survivors; wife, Nadine Lyons; children, Edward W. Lyons, Marcus L. Campbell and Janine F. Wright (Michael); grandchildren, Tyshawn Lyons, Lance Lyons and Yuriel Campbell-Castillo; great grandchildren, Alaya Lyons, Carter Lyons; siblings, Ruth Johnson, Dorothy Lyons, Bertha Wilson (Pat), Rosalyn L. Massenburg (Sam), Lillie Mulligan, Rose Marie Moore (Robert), Arvette Walker (Clifton) and Steven D. Lyons. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by a son, Garett Lyons.
