Mr. Edward Lee Watkins, Sr., age 74, of Benson, departed this life on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
Funeral, 1 PM, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Visitation, 12:30 to 1 PM, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, May 17, 2024, at the funeral home.
Survivors; children, Edward L. Watkins Jr. (Janel), Tony Watkins (Sandra Williams), Tomeka Watkins, Shonda Manuel, Dariek Vines; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Hollie Watkins, Debra Watkins Allen, Donald Ray Watkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends at 6421 Diamond Drive, Raleigh.
