Mr. Cleveland “Ghost” Hunter Jr., age 69, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Funeral, 3 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at State Street Community Church, 1200 South State Street, Raleigh.  Bishop Darryl Clark, Pastor.  Dr. Carl Waden, Eulogist.  Visitation, 2:30 - 3 PM, Saturday, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, May 10, 2024, at the funeral home.

Survivors; children, Brian Pappy and Cleveland McNair; siblings, Larry Hunter, Lillie Mae Pulley, Jean Hunter, Ada Hunter Sanders (Oscar), Joan Spencer (Benjamin), Barbara Henderson (Robert) and Jeanette Hunter (Leon); 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
