Mr. Charles Lee Oates, age 90, of Raleigh, departed this life on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Funeral, 11 AM, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 805 E. Davie St., Raleigh. Rev. Dr. Keith Hicks, Officiating. Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery, 120 Prospect Ave., Raleigh. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, April 10, 2026, at the funeral home.

Survivors; children, Chas Oates Horne (Johnny) and Charlene Oates; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
