Mr. Carlos Demetrius Martin, Jr., age 26, of Durham, departed this life on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, January 27, 2023, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, Friday, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the funeral home. 

Survivors; mother, Shalonda D. Bogin; brothers, Shyquill Espino and Quamir Martin; sister, Bianca Rutherford; maternal grandparents, Deborah Clowney; paternal grandparents, Louise Martin-Mitchell and Paul Bogin Jr.; aunts, Tamasa Williams, Crystal Martin and Lillie Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father Carlos Demetrius Martin, Sr.

The family will receive friends at 2831 Friar Tuck Road, Raleigh.
