Memorial Service, 12 Noon, Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Amanah Rush AME Zion Church, 558 East Cabarrus Street, Raleigh. Rev. Dr. Paul Sellars Atlas, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, prior to the service.

Survivors: children, Arthur Upchurch, Bishana Shipp, Karen Leak (Ike); 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Gwendolyn Peacox, Junenell Blackmon, Kenneth A. Upchurch; and a host of other relatives and friends.
