Funeral, 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at First Cosmopolitan Baptist Church, 1515 Cross Link Road, Raleigh, NC. The Rev. Dr. Dorwin L. Howard, Sr., Pastor, Officiating. Public viewing, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 16, 2023, at the funeral home.
Survivors; son, Joseph Whitaker III (Tracy); 2 grandchildren; sister, Rosebud Reubel; brother, Ralph Whitaker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
