Mother Mozelle Lyon Hood, age 92, of Garner, departed this life on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at St. Anna FWB Church, Willow Springs. The Rev. Dr. Linda McAllister, Pastor, Eulogist. Elder Fredrick McDuffie of Stay Faithful to God Ministry of Zebulon, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, Saturday, prior to the service. Interment, Church Cemetery. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, November 14, 2025, at the funeral home.

Survivors; son, Elder Vern E. Hood (Karen Harrington Hood); grandchildren, Amaris B. Hood and Adonis D. Hood; great grandchild, James M. Hood; sister, Mary L. Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 397 Boone Trail, Garner
