Mother Margaret Ruth Horton King, age 90, of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Funeral, 11 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Victory Tabernacle, 1329 US 70 West, Garner.  The Rev. James P. Perkins, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens,1530 Creech Road, Garner.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, March 13, 2026, at the funeral home. 

Survivors; daughter, Dorothy King Morgan of Raleigh, sons, David Emerson King (Audrey) of Raleigh and William Demetrice King of the home; 8 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Dozier (John), Dorothy Jones, Emma Johns, Phillip Horton, Edward Horton (Margaret), Milton Horton and Virginia Horton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
