Dr. Phillip Earl "Big Phil" Freeman, age 51, of Raleigh, departed this life on Friday, May 12, 2023, at WakeMed, Raleigh.
Homegoing Services will be held, 1 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Thomas J. Boyd Chapel located on the campus of Shaw University, 821 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh. Virtual Church Pastor Yolanda F. Hammond of Christian Home Christian Church, Apex, Officiating.
A repast and Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at The Venue Raleigh, 327 W. Davie St., Suite 102, Raleigh, immediately following the service.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, May 19, 2023 through Sunday May 21, 2023 from 4 PM until 9 PM at "Big Phil's home, 1960 Walnut Overlook Way, Apt. 106, Raleigh.
