Deacon Alton Bernard Tucker, age 82, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, November 1, 2024, at Mount Peace Baptist Church, 1601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. J. Vincent Terry Sr., Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery, Raleigh.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the funeral home. 

Deacon Tucker was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. and Carrie B. Tucker and two children, Alton Bernard McCullers and Deborah Kearney. 

Survivors: wife, Dinah B. Tucker; daughters, Sharon McCullers, Bernadette Tucker, Pamela McCullers, Latesha Greene (Anthony); son, Brian McCullers; siblings, Gail Tucker Moore, Rev. Elnora Tucker Sanders, Rebecca White and Ernestine Green; stepchildren, Janine Dawson (Rafaele), Larry Clinding, Randy Clinding and Michael Clinding; and a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; other family members and friends.
