The Rev. Dr. Tyrone K. Ashley Sr., age 72, of Garner, departed this life on Thursday, May 30, 2019. 

Funeral, 12 Noon, Saturday, June 8, 2019, Redeeming Love Missionary Baptist Church, 3425 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Mark T. Gibson, Pastor.  The Rev. Asa L. Bell Jr., Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Wendell, Officiating.  Bishop Benjamin K. Watts, Shiloh Baptist Church, New London, CT, Eulogist.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner.  

Visitation, 11 AM to 12 Noon, Saturday, June 8, 2019, prior to the service at the Church.  The family will be present to receive relatives and friends.  

Survivors include; his wife, Janet Baker Ashley of the home; daughter, The Rev. Velma E. Greenlee of Raleigh; son, Ronald G. Greenlee (Martha) of San Luis Obispo, CA; sisters, Lottie Perry of Deltona, FL and Cheryl Randolph (Deacon John Juma) of Suffolk, VA; brother, Ronald G. Ashley of Jacksonville, FL; 3 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends, including his daughter-in-law, Lisa Perry Ashley, the wife of his late son, Tyrone K. Ashley Jr., who preceded him death (September 2017). 

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, June 7, 2019, at the funeral home.
