Ms. Betty Jean Mitchell, age 62, of 3761 Wakefield Lane, Garner, departed this life on Monday, December 23, 2019.  Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, January 3, 2020, Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Elder Willard Smith, God's People in Christ Ministries of Garner, Officiating.

Survivors; daughter, Joyce Seda (Mike) of Clayton; son, Richard Davis (Danielle) of Raleigh; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends, including a very special cousin, Mary Sturdivant Miller of Cary, a very best friend, Tawana Cheek and other coworkers at Duke-Raleigh Hospital.   

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 6 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2019, at the funeral home. 

The family will receive friends at 220 Hickory Drive, Clayton.
