Mrs. Verna Teresa Hicks Turner Magbie, age 65, of 308 Braxcarr Street, Holly Springs, departed this life on Saturday, September 28, 2019. 

Funeral, 1PM, Saturday, October 5, 2019, Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home.  Visitation, 12:30 - 1 PM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, October 4, 2019.

Survivors; husband, Paul Magbie Sr. of the home; daughter, Karima Blaize of Sugar Loaf, NY; sons, Hassan Turner (Brandi) of Leesburg, VA and Paul Magbie Jr. (Niesha) of Hempstead, NY; mother, Constance Ferguson of the home; sister, Deidre Hicks of Cary; 12 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
