Mrs. Sallie Mae Clanton Bart, age 84, of the Bronx, NY, departed this life on Monday, August 26, 2019 at the Jewish Home and Hospital, there in the Bronx, NY. 

Funeral, 12 Noon, Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Greater Lovely Hill Baptist Church, 404 Embro Odell Road, Macon, NC.  Visitation, 11 AM until 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Interment, Church Cemetery.  

Survivors; son, Fred Bart of Honolulu, Hawaii; sisters, Hattie Clanton of Englewood, New Jersey, Patricia Hughes (Jacob) of Garner, Dorothy Parker (Edmond) of Middletown, Delaware, Clara Beasley (John) of Irvington, New Jersey, Mary Green (Eston) of Fredericksburg, VIrginia and Alice Clanton of Raleigh; brother, Gordon Clanton (Bessie) of Linden, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Public viewing, Monday, September 2, 2019, at the funeral home. 

The family will receive friends at 704 Belmont Dr., Raleigh.
