Mrs. Nonnie Hazel Whitaker Hayes, age 95, of 1523 Mechanical Boulevard, Garner, departed this life on Sunday, April 28, 2019. 

Funeral, 12 Noon, Wednesday, May 1, 2019, Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Interment, Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Officiating.  

Survivors; daughter, Beverlon Hayes Braswell (Robert) of Raleigh; sons, Nord Hayes Jr. (Sparky) of Raleigh and Charlie A. Hayes of the home; brother, Lane Whitaker (Delois) of Raleigh; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Public viewing, 12 Noon - 8 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at the funeral home.
