Mrs. Helen Lee Sanders, age 72, of 2233 Lockwood Folly Lane, Raleigh, departed this life on Friday, September 27, 2019 at UNC Rex Healthcare, Raleigh.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Thursday, October 3, 2019, St. Matthew AME Church, 1629 Bennett Street, Raleigh.  The Rev. Marion B. Robinson, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner.

Survivors: husband, Willie Sanders of the home; sons, James E. Taylor (Lisa M.) of Cameron, Anthony D. Taylor of Fayetteville, Lawrence R. Taylor (Angie) of Knightdale and Willie E. Sanders (Tonya Renee') of Raleigh; daughters, Samanthia G. Sanders of Angier, Debra A. Sanders and Camille Crawford (Raymond) both of Raleigh ; sisters, Elouise Hooker (Henry) of Clinton, MD, Terry Moore CT, Shelia Johnson of VA, Angie Johnson and Carrie Johnson both of Raleigh; brother, Roney Smith  of Raleigh, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at the funeral home.
