Mrs. Debra Hemphill Thomas, age 68, of 3322 Bell Drive, Raleigh, departed this life on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at UNC Rex Healthcare, Raleigh. Funeral, 11 AM, Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Young Missionary Temple CME Church, 2901 Sanderford Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Ronald L. White, Pastor, Officiating. Visitation, 10:30 to 11 AM, prior to the service. Interment, Raleigh National Cemetery, 11 AM, Thursday, September 5, 2019.

Survivors; daughters, Ericka Thomas of Knightdale and Chonetta Thomas of the home; son, Geoffrey Thomas (Tricia) of Apex; grandchildren, Dwayne Powell Jr., Jazmyne Powell, Dymond Powell and Elijah Thomas; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Frank Sanders of SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 405 Laurens Way, Knightdale.
