Mrs. Bernice Florence, age 90, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, January 25, 2019, at Baptist Grove Church, 7109 Leesville Road, Raleigh. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon prior to the service.  The Rev. Bankole Akinbinu, Pastor, Officiating.  Interment, Raleigh Memorial Park, Raleigh.

Survivors, daughter, Shirley A. Benning of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Mark K. Dixon III of Durham and Shalonda G.F. Arnold of Upper Marlboro, MD; sisters, Maxine Grimsley and Jestine Ferguson both of Sarasota, FL and Mable Edwards of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Public viewing, 12 Noon - 8 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2019, at the funeral home.
