Mrs. Attealia Burden Porter, age 89, of 728 Belmont Drive, Raleigh, departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Sunnybrook Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral, 1:30 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2019, Williams Grove Baptist Church, 735 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Kirby Jones, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, prior to the service.  Interment, Rand Street Christian Church Cemetery, 213 Haywood Street, Garner.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, September 27, 2019, at the funeral home.

Survivors: son, John Porter of Raleigh; grandchildren, Gregg Caudle, Kurtis Caudle, and Colette Caudle all of Raleigh; sisters, Emma Lee Shipman, Joanne Burden, and Nona Williams all of Tarheel, NC; brother, Richard Burden of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
