Mr. Johnny L. Evans, age 71, of 804 Springview Trail, Garner, departed this life Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, March 22, 2019, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 AM - 12 Noon Friday, prior to the service. Interment, Church Cemetery.

Survivors: fiancee', Ophilia Jones Evans of the home; children, Justin Jones, Dasani Jones, Damarcus Jones, Karen Evans and Oran Evans (Trina) all of Raleigh, Darrell Evans (Ora) of Clayton; sister, Shirley Evans Hickman of MD; 10 grandchildren, 3 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1019 Nowell Road, beginning Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the funeral home.
