Mr. Harold D. Smith, age 76, of 701 Newcombe Road, departed this life on Sunday, April 28, 2019. 

Funeral, 12 Noon, Saturday, May 4, 2019, Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old   Stage   Road.  The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Officiating.  Interment, Montlawn Memorial Park, 10 AM, Monday, May 6, 2019.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service on Saturday.  

Survivors; wife, Ella Baker Smith of the home; daughter, Cordella Smith Rashid (Qa’id) of Willow Spring, NC; grandson, Omari Khalil Rashid of   Willow  Spring,   NC; sister, Vivian Smith Love (the late Arthur Love) of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers, Marshall D. Smith (Orenthia) of Philadelphia, PA and Michael O. Smith of Winston-Salem; NC and a host of other relatives and friends.  

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, May 3, 2019, at the funeral home.
