Mr. Glenville Samuel Ashley, age 71, of 826 Cumberland Street #2, Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. 

Funeral, 1 PM, Friday, June 14, 2019, Revelation Baptist Church, 805 E. Davie Street.  The Rev. Keith Hicks, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 12:30 to 1 PM, Friday, prior to the service.  Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.

Survivors; wife, Norma Denise Newton Ashley of the home; sons, Robert E. Newton (Leah) of Garner and David S. Ashley of Ossining, NY; daughter, Aesha L. Newton  of Mt. Vernon, NY; sisters, Gloria Ashley of Queens, NY and Barbara Rochester of Canada; brothers, Horace “Bill” Ashley and Robert Ashley both of Ossining, NY, Kenneth Ashley, Kermit Ashley, Ernest Ashley and Danny Ashley all of Queens, NY; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the funeral home.
