Mr. Anthony Joseph Fitzgerald, age 80, of 214 Vinson Ridge Lane, Clayton, departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2019.

Survivors; wife, Shirley Mayle Riley Fitzgerald of the home; son, Anthony J. Fitzgerald Jr.; daughter, Victoria Fitzgerald Locke of Columbus, OH; step-daughters, Elizabeth Riley Hargrove of Raleigh and Chareen Riley Monk (Stanley) of Clayton; 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 1step great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
